Samuel A. Perez is a lifelong Bell Gardens resident who is proud to have attended local schools. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he is a first-generation college graduate with a degree in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles.
His background spans local government, school districts, and county-level education. As Vice Chair of the Bell Gardens Traffic and Safety Commission, Samuel works to improve public safety and the quality of life in his community.
Guided by his Christian faith, Samuel believes in serving others with integrity, humility, and compassion. He is running as an independent candidate to bring responsible budgeting, greater transparency, and practical solutions to City Hall.
Outside of work, ministry, and community service, Samuel enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Samuel A. Perez ha vivido toda su vida en Bell Gardens. Es auditor, ministro cristiano y candidato independiente para el Concejo Municipal de Bell Gardens. Samuel es bilingüe en inglés y español, asistió a escuelas locales y forma parte de la primera generación de su familia en graduarse de la universidad. Obtuvo su título en Contabilidad de Cal State LA.
Su trayectoria en el servicio público incluye experiencia en el gobierno local, distritos escolares y educación a nivel del condado. Samuel también ha servido a su comunidad como vicepresidente de la Comisión de Tráfico y Seguridad de Bell Gardens.
Samuel se postula para mejorar la calidad de vida de todos los residentes de Bell Gardens. Sus prioridades incluyen un presupuesto responsable, mayor transparencia financiera, desarrollo económico, seguridad pública y soluciones prácticas a los problemas de estacionamiento de la ciudad.

- Education & Community Service Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Cal State LA’s College of Business and Economics, following a Certificate in Banking and Money. Serves others through his work as a Christian minister.
